Weekend trip to sakleshpur

Last week end my family went to a coffee plantation cottage near Sakleshpur in Karnataka. We went in our new car.  I mostly slept  in the car. We reached there by noon. When I reached , I had to climb around 50 steps to reach my cottage.  My expectation was big.  So I peaked into my cottage and was surprised,  except a bed there was nothing else☹️.  I was expecting a luxurious cottage with many amenities.  But it was an Eco friendly wooden cottage with no amenities.  My parents gave me a hard time.  There were 10 wooden cabins scattered here and there in a coffee plantation. Out of 10 wooden cottage our's was the worst one. We got really disappointed.  But the view from cottage was amazing.

Our cottage had two wooden chairs in a small sit out, two wooden beds and one wooden bathroom full of snails 😉.  After we settled down, we went for lunch.  Lunch was not so good. I ate puri and rice with chicken curry.  View from cafeteria was very nice.  After lunch i had nothing to do so I took a nap.  In the evening we  went to a waterfall.  I played in water as much as I could.  I am crazy about playing in water.

We went back to our cottage and watched sunset with a cup of coffee. We could not watch the sunset fully because the sun disappeared behind the clouds after a while.  I played some outdoor games after that. When it became dark, I played table tennis .

Once it became really dark , we went back to our cottage and took bath. I took bath along with my new snail friends 😉.  We chatted for sometimes before dinner. Mainly teasing my mom.  Dinner was better than lunch, I ate chapattis with tandoori chicken. I slept by wearing cap to cover my ears as cottage had a lot of insects inside.
Next day morning, we went for a walk in the plantation near our cottage. I plucked some coffee beans and took some photos

First time in my life I saw termites building its house.  I found it interesting so I took photo.

After a not so exciting breakfast ,we checked out from there .On our way back to Bangalore, we visited a view point.  We climbed 3 hills, and the view was magnificent.
